For each scheduled
series of races, two races will be sailed if weather conditions
permit. The holiday regatta formats for the Lightnings and E Scows
shall consist of three races on the first day of the regatta and
two races on the second day unless otherwise posted. (Both classes
are scheduled to race three races on May 30th, July 4th, September
5th.) Note the starting time is for the scheduled start, not the
warning signal.
The starting sequence shall have the E Scow
class starting first and the Lightning class starting second. There
will be approximately a six to seven minute interval between the
class starts. The starting time, sequence, and number of races may
be modified, postponed, or altered at the discretion of the race
committee.
Please plan on you and at least two members of
your crew being available for departure one hour prior to the scheduled
start. You may switch dates with another skipper, but please inform
RC Chairman Bill Allen well in advance. He may be reached at home
(765-642-5502) or lake (574-834-4530).
Note: the starting time is for
the start, not the warning signal.
